Mendy 'disappears' from the City online store

All the products associated with the Manchester City player Benjamin Mendy, accused of four rapes and one sexual assault, have been removed from the online store of the "citizen" club.
According to the newspaper The Telegraph, the City has suppressed all mentions of Mendy in its online store. But the French player does appear in the presentation of Pep Guardiola's team on the City website.

The 2018 world champion with France in Russia is accused of four rapes and one sexual assault. Mendy will remain in prison until at least November 15, when he will appear before the judge in a new preparatory hearing for the trial, scheduled for January 24, 2022.

Mendy has been in preventive detention since August. He is charged with three rapes in October 2020 and one in August 2021, at his home in Prestbury, Cheshire.

City spent around €60 million to sign Mendy, 27, a former player from Marseille, Monaco, and Le Havre, who suffered a sexual assault in January 2021, also at his home.
